Boundless is thrilled to announce two new key hires to our executive team—former Infochimps CEO Nick Ducoff is joining as VP of Content and former TurningArt CTO Matt Hodgson will come aboard as VP of Engineering.
We’ve been busy plugging away here at HQ on new product and content offerings to expand our reach this fall semester. We couldn’t be happier to have these two experienced pros join our team during this critical period.
Content is king
Prior to joining Boundless, Nick Ducoff co-founded Infochimps, an Austin-based startup that makes big data more accessible. As CEO, Nick led the company to raise $3 million and build one of the web’s first open data marketplaces.
As VP of Content here at Boundless, Nick will apply his big data experience to help democratize education through effective use of open educational resources. Nick will be responsible for growing our educational content base and improving the quality and efficacy of the team’s content development process.
Earlier in his career, Nick was a VC lawyer for 4 years, working with startups and VC funds in company formation, debt and equity financings, M&A and IPOs.
Nick is also an investor in HBS startup Outbox and an advisor to Boston-based PowerInbox, Austin-based Polygraph Media, and San Francisco-based LegalReach.
